It recently dawned on me that it seems like I can’t get much done around the house. It was confusing because it wasn’t like I was sitting on the couch all day. It finally dawned on me, I have a 16 month old who loves to help daddy do chores/make a mess.
Natalie’s room is now almost done. Her grandfather painted the underwater mural for us and her pictures for over her dresser and crib. See the video of the mural below.

Mom was at work today so we figured we would do the only logical thing to do, build a playhouse . The upside to moving a few times in the last couple of years is that I always have a box or 30 around. I put them to good use and made a playhouse for K, and also destroyed our living room. It’s equipped with 2 windows, a sun light (thats right a sunlight), roof, and missing door. Overall I would say I am proud of the craftsmanship that went into building this fortress. The most important thing is that Kendall is having a ball with it so that makes it a Win. Check out our first playhouse below.
On a side note the mad slasher did not show up so no couches were harmed or slashed during the building of this fortress.
