Today while Mom was at work making a living, K and Dad played ball. When Santa brought her a basketball hoop for Christmas I was beyond excited. I pictured in my head us playing for hours on end. Well my dream came true. Today after her morning nap we ate mac and cheese and played basketball until her next nap. When I finally had to take her up for her next nap she kicked, screamed, and cried to stay down stairs and play. Secretly It made me happy that she was having so much fun but the truth is I may have enjoyed it more. In my head this is not even close to what parenthood was like, this version is much better. I love it so much and wouldn’t change a thing about it.
